1. REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENCE * If you entered the country on a short-term tourist visa, or a visa exemption, working is not permitted. * In order to carry out activities not permitted under your present visa classification, you must change your visa status, or apply for special permission. * If you wish to extend your period of stay, you must apply for an extension of the period of stay before you present visa expires. * If you with to leave the country for any period of time during your stay, and would like to return on the same visa, you must obtain a re-entry permit prior to your departure. INFORMATION OF MOVING IN/OUT OF NINOHE CITY Before moving into/within out of Ninohe City or after moving into the City, you are supposed to complete the fallowing necessary procedures as soon as possible. (1) Change of School When you move out Ninohe City 1) Go through the change-of-address registration procedures at the Citizen Division of the Ninohe City Hall or at the other Branch offices. 2) Get the Certificates issued by the present school addressed to a new school where you will attend. When you move into Ninohe City, 1) Go through the change-of-address registration procedures at Citizen Division of the Ninohe City Hall or at the other Branch offices. 2) Get a notification of removal of the name from the school register at Management Division, Board of Education. 3) Bring both the notification and the certificates issued by the present school addressed to a new school where you will attend. When you move within Ninohe City, 1) Go through the change-of address registration procedures at the Citizen Division of the Ninohe City Hall or at the other Branch offices. 2) Get a notification of removal of the name from the school register at Management Division, Board of Education. 3) Bring both the notification and the certificates issued by the present school addressed to a new school where you will attend. (2) Incoming Mail Report your change of address to a post office nearby. Mail and packages with your previous address will be forwarded to your new address for one year from the date you report. (3) Motorcycles and Small cars Report to the under-mentioned of your change and obtain information for new registration and its procedures for tax purposes.
