1. FIRE
Dial 119 for reporting a fire, giving your name, the address of the site of the fire, landmark nearby, and the state of the fire. Let the neighbors know about the fire to avoid damage. It is suggested to keep a piece of paper with your address,the nearest landmark, and your telephone number near the telephone.

In order to put out a fire by yourself in its early stage, it is advisable to keep a fire extinguisher, a bucket, and a hose at hand.

when you try to escape from the fire site, cover your mouth and nose with a towel to avoid inhaling smoke. Get out of the building quickly keeping close to the ground, Let the elderly, children, and the handicapped escape first, and never go back into the building.

2. AMBULANCE
Dial 119 in case of emergency requiring an ambulance. When you call, tell them the location, type of injury/illness/accident, number of people involved, a landmark nearby, your name and telephone number clearly.

at the Resident Residents' Consultation Room of Ninohe City Hall from 10:00 to 3:00 on 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. Telephone consulting is accepted.
